HERE IT COMES - VERBAL WARNING THE MOVIE!!

As Covid 19 continues to grind us all down it's time for some good news!

For all you music-starved people, we have a special treat for you on the way . . . . . VERBAL WARNING - THE MOVIE!

Monday, 7th December will be the 40th anniversary of the first gig by the first incarnation of this band.

So we have produced a full feature-length movie, complete with archives photos and video, that tells the story of the band's emergence, hiatus and rebirth.

Many of you who have seen us over the years will doubtless spot yourselves in the videos or photos.

We will launch the movie on our newly-created YouTube channel on 7th December.

We have already put a brand new online charity gig we released last weekend – that is also on this web site - and we will continue to add to it with archive and new material

Onto gig news. . . . . .

With the latest Government Tiers announced, our proposed gig at Derby Horse & groom on Sunday, 6th December is sadly now officially off and moved to Sunday, 28th February next year. Fingers crossed that won't be too early.

The gigs at Long Eaton's Stumble Inn on Sunday, 27th December and at Stapleford's Larry's Bar on New Year's Eve are obviously both up in the air right now.

They look unlikely to survive but decisions will be left as late as possible – you never know!

Bramcote Top House landlord Ivan has booked us for his birthday party in the marquee outside the White Lion pub for Saturday, 17th April – the real ale and food are good there so should be a great day.

We currently have six gigs on a very free diary for 2021, four of them festivals, but expect to hear from regular venues as soon as the virus situation improves and the vaccines get us back to normality.

In the meantime have a fantastic Christmas, even if it has to be at home with no pubs open! Cheers!
